Multiplex has been engaged to construction manage Capital Square Tower 1, one of three proposed buildings to be constructed on the Old Emu Brewery site on Mounts Bay Road, Perth.
Tower One consists of 32 levels of premium grade office space and a NLA of 54,000m2. The tower includes one basement level, a mid-level plant room, five floors classified as a Remote Operations Centre, and two floors for use as kitchen and dining facilities.
Once completed, the building will become the new Perth headquarters for Woodside Energy Limited.
The project is targeting a 5 Star Green Star Design, 5 Star Green Star As-Built (v3) rating and aiming for certified 5 Star NABERS energy rating.
The entire Capital Square project comprises of a further two towers, a 34-level hotel and a 40-storey apartment tower, which are yet to commence construction.
Multiplex is also currently constructing a four-storey podium building which will include world-class employee facilities for Woodside and the hotel’s gymnasium and pool facilities. Tower One and the podium buildings are currently under construction, and are due for completion in mid-2017.
